The Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate Food & Beverage Operations Manager  to join our dynamic F&B team at Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport.

This role will be reporting to the Executive Assistant Manager and is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor or Assistant Manager to take the next step and work collaboratively with the wider hotel team in an exciting, varied role.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Overall management of our La Boca Restaurant & Bar and Room Service operations Day-to-day banquet operations, acting as liaison to the kitchen team, events planning and sales staff members Hands-on running of the outlets whilst driving guest centric service culture in the team Lead, train and develop front of house Food & Beverage team whilst empowering staff to deliver exceptional guest experience Administration of roster management and cost control Maintain health and safety and food handling standards in outlets Ensure that strategies are in place to allow efficient and effective department staffing and to achieve service quality and financial targets Strive to create memorable moments with our guests and team members Have a "can do" attitude and consistently strive to exceed client expectations

What are we looking for?

Hands-on leadership style Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume C&E operations Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring and leading a team of restaurant, banquets and bar staff Thrives under pressure and is well organized Has guest centric outlook and a creative mindset to ensuring our guests are well looked after Is flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays Knowledge of POS system Experience in a 4 to 5-star Hotel or similar environment A current RSA and full working rights are essential
