What’s on the menu for your next career move? We're searching for our next Food and Beverage Team Leader to join the F&B leadership team and support the overseeing of the hotel's Food & Beverage operations.

With the recent completion of Holiday Inn Sydney Airport's multi-million dollar refurbishment, our new rooms product offers elevated furnishings and bathrooms to introduce a revolutionary transformation to the airport hotel experience. Guests are greeted with earthy tones from bronze light fixtures and on-trend leather headboards, inviting an ultimate atmosphere of warmth and comfort. Just the beginning of elevation to the experience at Holiday Inn Sydney Airport, we are excited to take our hotel to new heights in 2024 and beyond.

Each day will be different but you will mostly be;
- Ensuring the smooth running of Food and Beverage service on shift in our Restaurant, Biggles Bar & Grill, Room Service and in-house Conference & Events
- Provide quality service and consistent standards whilst delivering a memorable guest experience
- Training and coaching of F&B team to ensure quality service and standards while delivering a guest experience that is unique
- Understand the menu, offer suggestions and up-sell food and beverage items
- Assist with rostering, ordering and general direction of Food & Beverage colleagues
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor licensing requirements.

What We need from you:

- Previous experience in a F&B leadership position - ideally in a hotel or restaurant
- Excellent knowledge of ala carte menus, wine and beverage lists, current and emerging food trends
- Understanding of the day to day running of Food & Beverage Operations essential
- Strong attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills
- NSW RSA Certification is essential
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including afternoons/nights, weekends, public and school holidays
- Full working rights to work full time in Australia - unfortunately sponsorship is not an option for this role
