    • We work off a continuous feedback cycle, rather than set time points. You will have regular meetings with your manager scheduled in your calendar. These are a two-way meeting, and you are encouraged to raise QI ideas, concerns and feedback relating to your own work and the company as a whole. These topics aren’t limited to the scheduled meetings, and you are also encouraged to request a meeting at any time or discuss via anther communication method.

    About The Role

    Key responsibilities:

    Therapeutic Excellence:

    • Provide high-level paediatric therapy services, demonstrating clinical leadership within the team.
    • Serve as a reference point for other clinicians in the team, exercising independent professional decision-making.
    • Embrace the Kids + Co.Lab creedo, valuing family and collaborative connection in every interaction with clients, their families and key stakeholders.
    • Advocate for the best interests of the child or young adult, empowering families and support systems to actively participate in the therapeutic journey.
    • Undertake duties of a complex and varied nature with clinical decisions based on valid and reliable evidence.
    • Align therapy services with our values, emphasising future-focused and individualised best practices.
    • Demonstrate a broad understanding of the continuum of care and the provision of multidisciplinary community disability services for paediatric clients.
    • Apply effective written and verbal communication skills to provide professional therapy services.
    • Provide clinical practice supervision to less-experienced practitioners, students or those involved in observational clinical placements; and provide direction to assistant and support staff.

    • Foster an inclusive community by empowering and supporting children, young adults, and their families.
    • Encourage confidence and growth through collaborative and individualised therapy.
    • Develop effective professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to inform and

    • Actively participate in reflective practices to improve therapeutic approaches and achieve what's possible together.
    • Contribute to formal research projects, influencing processes and standards of practice for the service

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field.
    • 4+ years of experience in paediatric therapy.
    • AHPRA Registration or SPA membership (where relevant)
    • Driver’s License
    • NDIS Worker Clearance
    • QLD Children’s Blue Card
