Position Overview:
 
Fineform Concrete Pty Ltd specialises in the provision of construction services, including formwork, steel fixing, concrete, and remedial services throughout Western Australia. Fineform holds critical contracts across the commercial, government, defence, and private sectors.
 
Responsibilities and Duties:
 
  • Reading drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
  • Ordering and selecting correct materials for purpose
  • Correct use of power tools and laser instruments
  • Preparing ground slab edge board
  • Erecting table formwork for suspended slabs e.g. Doka, Peri, Ulma
  • Erecting column and core formwork
  • Erecting framework, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying trueness structures
  • Nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door a window frames
  • Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to insta
  • Cutting wood joints
  • Repairing existing fittings
  • Working with plastic laminates, Perspex, and metals
  • Completing works in a safe and responsible manner
  • Correct use of PPE
 
Requirements:
  • This position requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the trade.
  • Relevant industry certificate
  • Demonstrated industry knowledge is essential for this position
  • WA Building and Construction Industry White/Blue Card
  • Other relevant tickets and certificates
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Own tools and belt
  • High rise experience
