In this role, you will be working for our Infrastructure Services business which forms part of the CV group.

The team specialises in electrical infrastructure works and provides a comprehensive range of design, supply and construction services. Our projects include major road and rail infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects, urban developments and subdivisions, and airports and airfields.

We have over 170 team members with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects for our wide range of clients.

About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Supervisor to join our team based in Rockhampton.

The Role:

• Manage on site construction activities to ensure construction program is being met
• Ability to supervise multiple crews giving clear precise instructions
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and deliver cost effective construction methodologies
• Coordinate with the Project Engineer to ensure work planned and is delivered to the highest standards in terms of quality, environmental and health and safety
• Provide Quality Assurance and control sign off to relevant works in-line with Quality Assurance process and project requirements
• Coordinate and participate in daily pre-start meetings, toolbox meetings to help foster a productive team environment
• Manage direct resourcing allocations in-line with project schedule and ensure works are planned for and aligned. Monitor all works currently underway and scheduled, to identify potential challenges or issues and provide direction on best method for resolution
• Manage client and stakeholder interaction during construction

About You

• 6+ years experience working in the civil construction industry
• 2+ years experience on road construction projects and direct experience working on an Urban Development or TMR project
• Previous experience with shoring systems and working in and around existing underground services.
• Previous operator experience with Front End Loader, Skid Steer, Excavator, highly desirable.
• Previous experience with installation of underground electrical reticulation highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to positively influence outcomes
• Current drivers licence
• HR truck license is highly desirable
• A high safety conscious mentality
