About Our Client

Job Description
  • Provide high quality, accurate and timely financial advice and insights to the Enterprise Bargaining team to support the negotiation process.
  • Support financial analysis of Enterprise Bargaining proposals, detailing the benefits and financial impact.
  • Undertake FTE and industry benchmarking analysis to support Enterprise Bargaining proposals and outcomes.
  • Support the operationalising of Enterprise Bargaining agreed proposals through the budget and forecast processes.
  • Support Finance Business Services and Partners to deliver against strategic objectives and provide high quality specialist advice and analytical services to the University's portfolio stakeholders.
  • Supporting project work including improvement including operationalising of the Research Funding Strategy.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of policies, procedures and processes within the broader Finance team.
The Successful Applicant
  • Immediate availability
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in preparation of budgets, management reporting, forecasting and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise workload in a busy/demanding environment and complete competing work tasks within tight time frames.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal with complex issues with sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of staff and students in a University environment in order to meet the position
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and effectively as part of a team
  • Working towards or already qualified CPA/CANZ member
  • Knowledge of Finance One desirable
