As a Senior Risk Advisor, you have extensive experience in enterprise and operational risk management across various mature organisations with a robust risk appetite. Your expertise lies in driving engagements, identifying opportunities, providing tailored advice, conducting quality risk assessments, and delivering value-added solutions, at the enterprise and departmental level.

Additionally, your collaborative and proactive nature, excellent stakeholder management skills, professional level of written reports and deliverables, and detailed analysis contribute to successfully managing end-to-end Risk Advisory engagements.

Your Background

  • Proficiency in strategic and operational risk management across diverse areas, particularly at the enterprise level.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive engagements end-to-end, identify opportunities, provide advice, and conduct high-quality risk assessments.

  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, standards, best practice, risks and controls

  • Experience creating end-to-end risk management processes, including frameworks, policies, dashboards, reporting, and training content.

  • Experience monitoring and reporting on the adequacy and effectiveness of the risk and control environment (including emerging risks, risk exposures and risk appetite).

  • Proactive stakeholder engagement.

  • Collaborative mindset with a high attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional level reports and deliverables, and data analysis expertise.

Your Team

You will report to the Manager, Enterprise & Operational Risk, collaborate with other Risk Advisors within the team, and engage with stakeholders extensively. The team is responsible for engagement and embedding of risk practices, operational resilience, risk culture, risk in change and training, and is part of the broader Risk and Compliance Department who is currently transforming the Bank’s risk management at a rapid pace.
