Job description:     

Conduct machine setting changes to ensure quality and efficiency meet specifications and efficiency targets

  • Set and run injection moulding machines.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and full adjustment of machines
  • Clean-Inspect-Lubricate (CIL)
  • Lead blow-moulder changeovers
  • Test runs and quality checks
  • Maintain consistent product specification and standards
  • Participate in improvement activities
  • Lead safe practises in the workplace
  • Immediately alert the Team Leader of any non-conformance to process or product
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in the work environment
  • Report all incidents that could negatively impact the production of quality products in a safe environment 

Profile description:
 
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills, knowledge & abilities:

  • Solid experience in injection moulding and robot setting.\
  • Polymer qualifications desirable
  • Quality and safety conscious
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Team player
  • Have a great attitudeto learn, be flexible and able to adapt in a multi skilled environment
  • High levels of initiative and the ability to apply discretion and judgment to problem solve
  • Process driven with a commitment for continuous improvement 
  • Reliability, ongoing commitment and a willingness to go the extra mile

On Offer:

Day shift hours: 7.00am - 3.06pm, $45 per hour, plus super.   

You must be an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to be eligible to apply for this position.
