About the role

As an Investment Reporting Specialist, you will provide investment reporting for the Fund including performance and attribution, regulatory and risk reporting, and investment surveys.

Day to day, you'll: 

Produce detailed performance, attribution, regulatory and risk reporting at investment manager, asset class and option level for internal and external stakeholders including the Investment Committee and Regulators. Investigate and resolve performance, attribution and risk discrepancies with custodian and internal/external parties. Produce investment survey information for approved survey houses and any other surveys as required. Produce the Quarterly Investment Report (QIR) and liaising with internal parties to ensure it is completed on time and accurate. Provide back-up to team when required to complete day to day investment administration duties. Continuously enhance Australian Retirement Trust’s current risk and performance analytics reporting.

This role is available as a 6-month secondment opportunity.

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills we'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely your tick some of the following boxes too:

Possess a relevant university degree (., Mathematics, Finance or equivalent). Strong experience ideally in the funds management sector with direct experience in most functions covered by the role. Excellent analytical and interpretive skills, ability to work independently, ability to present and communicate results. Knowledge of performance methods and risk measures. Experienced in Excel and SQL with Python, Matlab and/or VBA desirable.
