Location​

This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises of 295 guest rooms, suites and villas. ​

Department​

The Cook/Catering Assistant position reports directly to the Executive Chef and forms part of the Kitchen Team.  ​

​

 The successful candidate will be:​​

  • Prior experience and knowledge of A la Carte, Buffet and outdoor catering styles​
  • Talented and creative​
  • Possess excellent communication skills​
  • Team Players​
  • True desire to succeed in this profession​
  • Previous 5 Star Experience in a larger kitchen brigade is highly regarded​
  • The ability to work rotating shifts across 7 days​​
