Trade apprenticeship available:

Mechanical (Fitter)

Our apprentices tell us that it's the balance between working and studying that will really give you the edge. When you're not at TAFE learning the technicalities of your trade, you'll be onsite putting what you've learnt into practice with heavy machinery and equipment.

You'll be challenged, but you'll find it's the best way to develop and learn. At the end of your apprenticeship, you'll be a fully qualified tradesperson and if you have the desire, you can progress into other opportunities like supervision or further post-trade study.

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on, logical thinker who will step up, use their initiative, and resolve problems. Understanding that commitment to finishing what you start and taking personal responsibility for your work will take you a long way AND when successful in application, we will provide you with support to help you travel the rest of the way. 

To be considered for this program, the below criteria is essential;

Successfully completed Year or higher

A demonstrated interest in undertaking an apprenticeship.

The energy, motivation and commitment to undertake 4 years of study and technical training

A strong commitment to working safely and confidence to seek clarification

The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
