**About the role**:
You will be part of a large steelmaking team at the Meltshop in the Rooty Hill Steel Mill, reporting to the Shift Leader. The roster is 12-hour shifts, and the plant operates 24/7. The role rotates between day and night shifts.
- We will provide training for each area within the Meltshop.
- The different roles include various manufacturing sections across the process of Steel Making.
- Cabin crane and Forklift operation is included in the role.

**About your experience**:
It is important that you are committed to learning the steel industry and joining a global business where you will gain exposure to best practice in safety and steel production. We believe in stability and long-term career development.
- Tradesman and/or mechanical experience
- Excellent work ethic and willingness to learn
- Forklift ticket ideal
- Works well in a team environment
- Computer literate to learn to operate our complex process equipment

**InfraBuild’s Steel Manufacturing **business unit operates world-class state-of-the-art Steelmaking facilities in Sydney, Newcastle & Melbourne. Operating two electric arc furnaces and four rod and bar rolling mills. We use local materials to produce high quality steel products. Supplying a range of products to steel distributors nationally, whilst building on our proud traditions of technical excellence and team safety.
