We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Workforce/Roster Officer to join our Workforce team, preferably with experience in Community Services or Labour Hire.  

Workforce plays a vital role within Rocky Bay’s Human Resources department, relying upon excellent communication skills, team-work and high attention to detail; prioritising tasks and managing your time to proactively contribute to organisational efficiency, building positive, trustful and dignified relationships with staff and customers alike. 

Working hours will be Monday - Friday with shifts between the hours of 7am-7pm. 

What you need to do:

  • Develop rosters to achieve efficiency and maximise the use of resources
  • Utilise workforce to cover shift shortfalls
  • Roster staff to attend training without compromising costs
  • Maintain all records of staff leave including personal leave, annual leave, and other types of leave
  • Ensure all entered data is accurate each and every time

What you need to have:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Experience of rostering, scheduling, labour hire or community services
  • People oriented – approachable, courteous and committed to providing excellent customer service
  • Previous experience with rostering software applications would be highly regarded (e.g. Salesforce Skedulo) but is not essential
