A 12-month fixed term opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Manager - Brand Campaigns to join our APAC Brand team. 

Reporting to Director of Brand, APAC you will lead all integrated brand campaign activity in Australia and acts as custodian for Bupa brand identity across APAC. This role will act as an agent of change and will inspire and educate colleagues on the importance of brand in driving future commercial business growth.

Working across a range of teams, businesses and external agencies, this role will be the central lead to develop and implement the executional strategy of the Masterbrand, bringing it to life in Australia. The Senior Manager - Brand Campaigns will manage a small team who work with cross-functional colleagues and external partners to manage effective campaigns from conceptualisation to delivery.

What will your day look like:

  • Champion the Australian Masterbrand creative platform Healthcaring and implement the strategic executional plan across all markets in Australia.
  • Develop campaign strategy and plans together with colleagues and collaborate on execution. Undertake robust reporting and monitoring to demonstrate the performance of campaigns and to inform future activity.
  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide sponsorship strategy for the Australian market, including the management of these assets and the activation of enterprise-level or global sponsorships in Australia.
  • Work closely with a range of internal stakeholders including senior leaders to gain their input, alignment and support. 
  • Work with agency partners (creative, media, strategy, activation, etc) to deliver this work.
  • Negotiate and manage contractual arrangements with a range of partners and vendors.
  • Act as senior lead and custodian of the Bupa brand identity for APAC. This includes the education and inspiration of all relevant colleagues and vendors to understand and align to our brand expression.
  • Responsibility for brand governance, together with the Brand Advisor. This includes establishing and running processes and practices and building a community of experts to ensure our brand identity is protected and its equity is enhanced.
  • Team management responsibilities for the brand execution team, including the Sponsorship Manager and Brand Advisor, plus potentially other direct or cross-functional reports.
  • Act as a brand partner to internal stakeholders by providing strategic advice, executional guidance and communications support to businesses and functions, so that we better achieve our desired brand positioning and achieve consistency and coherence across all expressions of the Bupa brand.
  • Act as the key representative to external brand, advertising, design and media partners for Bupa, along with our internal design studio. Identify and implement opportunities for more effective and efficient media and campaign planning, vendor management, and campaign investment within Brand and across the enterprise.
  • Regular administration and financial management including budgeting and invoices, planning activities, stakeholder updates and presentations, administration of brand assets, brand governance and process improvement.

You may also carry out any other duties reasonably requested by Bupa from time to time.

What do I need? 

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in brand, marketing or advertising.
  • Knowledge of integrated communications, campaign and media planning, research and insights and brand design is highly valued.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communications skills and experience working with senior stakeholders and people at a range of levels.
  • Proven experience managing relationships with external vendors and agency partners.
  • Excellent project management skills to be able to manage projects autonomously.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
