Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join their growing IT team. Undeterred by the market, they have grown an excellent IT function supporting the business with this being the latest addition.
  
Practicing a hybrid work environment, they pride themselves on being somewhere that offers growth and building themselves up. As they migrate from on-prem to a cloud ecosystem, this prime opportunity has arisen. This role will be a blend of configuration, maintenance, design, and deployment of new systems.
  

Responsibilities

  • Optimise O365, AD, and Azure systems for peak performance
  • Utilise SCCM/Intune for application deployment
  • Setup and migrate to cloud networks
  • Collaborate with the CISO and SOC on security matters
  • Resolve advanced problems alongside the support team
  • Follow and instil best practice

An ideal candidate will have;

  • Strong experience as a system administrator in a Microsoft environment.
  • A track record of working with Group Policy, Active Directory, DNS, and Office 365
  • Completed large deployments with SCCM / Intune
  • Previously governed and configured cloud networks, preferably Azure
  • Solid knowledge of switches and routers (e.g. Aruba, Cisco, Juniper etc.)
  • Exposure to Linux and SQL Server
  • Worked with security systems (e.g. firewalls, intrusion detection)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Full working rights for Australia (no sponsorship available).

As this is a hybrid role, you need to be able to work in Mount Waverley 3 days a week. Only those with full Australian work rights will be considered.
