The Jacobs team in Perthhave anopportunityfor anexperienced Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to come join them and play a pivotal role in our iconic projects spanning across ANZ, in sectors such as Power Generation (including Renewable Energy), Water and infrastructure.  

Here’s what you’ll need:

The Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer provides technical support on projects, enabling accuracy and quality of delivery. You’ll comply with standards and procedures, optimise ways of working whilst contributing to a culture of safety and quality. In this role, with your industry experience, you’ll be able to add value to our key market sectors – Power Generation, Water and/or Infrastructure being advantageous. In this vital role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Utilise prior knowledge of designing industrial control systems, including system architecture, PLCs/RTUs, HMIs, SCADA, instrumentation, industrial network, and wired/wireless communications. Comfortable in designing, configuring, and integrating these systems.
  • Produce engineering deliverables, including models, drawings, calculations, specifications, datasheets, reports, and evaluations.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues, supporting their professional development.
