Roles in Concrete Plants are fast paced and will require you to be a strong problem solver, process driven with a high level of attention to detail.

About the Role

As a production officer at our Wacol plant, your duties will include allocating & assigning loads, forklift & loader operations, yard duties, manual handling, stock management & ordering, There will also be an opportunity for you to learn how to batch concrete. The role involves early starts & potentially late finishes, so we are looking for someone who is flexible and can hit the ground running.

Duties and responsibilities:

Supporting and displaying a strong safety culture at all times Production of concrete using multiple systems and processes Allocating and assigning loads to drivers Stock management and coordination of deliveries  Managing contractors carrying out site maintenance Yard maintenance and front end loader operation Forklift operation and manual handling of bagged products

About you:

Be a team player who is self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised,  Willingness to go the extra mile, supporting a strong team culture Be passionate about safety, with a strong work ethic, and is results focused Have effective communication skills and work under pressure Be able to physically perform all duties associated with the position Driver's license and own transport is essential with front end loader and/or forklift competency an advantage Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening Hold full Australian work rights with no limitations on hours or employment duration. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Student or Holiday Visas, due to associated work restrictions.
