ABOUT THE ROLE
The team at Mount Magnet are seeking a Process Operator to join the team. Ideally, we are looking for you to have strengths across the Plant & Mill. This opportunity does offer growth within those areas and on different machinery.
The role is offered on an 8/6/7/7 roster FIFO from Perth to Mt Magnet. The Checkers Gold Mill is a 1.9 million tonne per annum (Mtpa) conventional semi autogenous grinding (SAG) gold mill located approximately 4km from the Cosmos mining area.
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this role will:
- Safely operate the plant by controlling, monitoring, adjusting, fixing, recording, and cleaning the process plant, mill and
- Achieve production targets through efficient use of resources to maximise reagent and consumable usage.
- Continuously evaluate the performance of the plant against operating targets and make modifications and changes to improve or rectify concerns as they occur.
- Assess risks and identify hazards tasks to achieve the safe operation of all sections of the Processing Plant.
- Routinely inspect plant equipment, report and repair any faults.
- Operate mobile equipment (Loader or Forklift) to assist with housekeeping and reagent movement around the Processing area.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, we would like to see.
- 12-months of experience, or more, in Gold Processing or similar.
- High Risk Work licence (LF) and nationally accredited training in Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights.
- Metalliferous Mining (Processing) training.
- Nationally accredited IT Loader and Bobcat training.
- Exposure to Process Control Systems ideally from a gold processing environment.
- A West Australian C class driver’s license (manual) and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance purposes.
ABOUT RAMELIUS
Ramelius Resources is a successful ASX200 listed gold producer in Western Australia, with two production hubs at Edna May and Mt Magnet processing from four satellite mines, including the ultra-high-grade Penny Gold Mine.
