WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The In Season Analyst plays one of the most critical roles in meeting consumer needs and optimising our business during the current season. They focus on analyzing key decisions related to pricing, promotions, and inventory movement across Nike’s various channels (online, stores, etc.) to maximize revenue, margin, and inventory productivity. We are looking for someone who can create plans, convert them into action, drive innovation and able to work in a faced paced environment, underpinned by a world class team.

The candidate must have a proven track record of analytical skills and business acumen to solve complex issues collaboratively with team members. They will need to regularly work with cross-functional team members to proactively address, resolve, and escalate any business risks or opportunities to maximize our revenue, margin, and inventory productivity.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will conduct analysis to determine optimised pricing structures, promotional levers, and movements of inventory across Nike’s various channels (online, stores, etc.) to achieve revenue, margin and inventory plans.

You will identify over- and under-performing styles and develop strategies to optimise performance in the marketplace. This will contribute to our business strategies and achievement of our financial goals.

You will identify opportunities to integrate in-season insights into future plans in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will report to the Director of In Season Optimisation. You will work closely with other In Season Analysts and Allocators within the same team to achieve revenue, margin, and inventory objectives for the current season. You will collaborate cross-functionally with the Nike Direct Planning team, Nike Marketplace Partner team, Inventory Operations and Enterprise Business Planning/Performance Operations teams. You will have a highly cross functional scope of responsibilities as you work on end-to-end risks and opportunities to best optimise the in-season business for Nike.

This role is an individual contributor role.

WHAT YOU BRING

2 Years+ retail planning experience in a vertical or wholesale environment Bachelor Degree preferred in disciplines such as Business, Fashion/Textiles Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, along with ability to work in deadline driven environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate successfully across teams Confidence in using Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge in Excel. Desired : Cognos BI tool, Tableau Competence to understand retail KPI’s, with the ability to use data and analytics to identify critical information on commercial drivers Validated strong analytical skills to find relevant information within large data sets and to create an executive summary
