Your Responsibilities:
As our Seasoned Investment Analyst, you will play a vital role in our finance team, focusing on the thrilling world of cryptocurrency. Collaborating closely with the Investment Director, you will oversee our cryptocurrency portfolio, conduct market research, monitor risks, and ensure compliance. You'll work across different departments handling transaction coordination, managing financial positions, and generating reports for management and tax purposes. Your expertise will be instrumental in streamlining processes, enhancing internal controls, and contributing significantly to our financial achievements.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing a portfolio of crypto, forex, and equities.
  • Overseeing crypto exchange and coordinating crypto, forex, and equities transactions.
  • Conducting market research on crypto, forex, equities, and other investment products.
  • Monitoring risks, including VaR and stress testing in extreme scenarios.
  • Collaborating with the treasury team to manage financial positions and adapt to liquidity requirements.
  • Managing the portfolio with short-term investments, hedging, and crypto staking among others.
  • Reporting transactions for management and tax purposes.
  • Collaborating with various accounting teams including tax, treasury, accounting, and investments.
  • Driving enhancements in processes for efficiency and internal control.

Your Qualifications:

  • Expertise in cryptocurrency markets.
  • Experience in cryptocurrency trading and investments.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Background in financial reporting.
  • Preferred experience in investment manager research and/or consulting for institutional investors.

Additional Skills Are a Plus:

  • Knowledge of Sports & Gambling beneficial
  • Understanding of cryptocurrencies advantageous
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Jira
