Visy began manufacturing corrugated cardboard boxes in Melbourne, Australia, in 1948 and has grown to become one of the world's leading privately owned packaging, paper and recycling companies. Visy Boxes & More are Australia and New Zealand’s premier ‘one stop shop’ for packaging supplies and consumables. They have an extensive range and supply the most innovative and competitive products across four major industry sectors being Moving & Storage, Food and Beverage, Retail & Online, and Commercial & Industrial Businesses. They operate in 23 locations with 70 staff and have revenues of circa 90m.

The Role:

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Master Data & Commercial Administrator will be the gatekeeper of business-critical pricing, rates, and customer & vendor information. You will ensure the integrity and accuracy of key data is correct, which includes information about products, customers, locations, codes, and other essential business data. This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate pricing and ensuring that all related information is up to date. You will bring excellent communication skills and a forward-thinking approach as you will actively liaise with the wider financial, sales, and support teams to achieve quality results.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Data Management: Manage and maintain master data, ensuring accuracy and integrity in SAP, Magento, and other systems including Excel and Salesforce CRM Communication: Ensure effective communication of purchase price movements to relevant internal stakeholders Data Alignment: Ensure product (SKUs) data in Magento aligns with SAP data for visibility on the Visy Boxes and More website and custom partner portals within Magento Proposal Preparation: Assist in preparing proposals and cost estimates for existing and prospective customers in collaboration with the Sales team Analytical Support: Provide analytical support to evaluate and improve poor-performing accounts and products Corporate Projects: Participate in ad-hoc corporate projects, including general pricing reviews Tendering Projects: Assist Branch, Sales, Account, and Commercial Managers with indicative pricing for tendering projects

What you will bring to the team:

Prior experience in a similar Commercial Administrator or Master Data role in a manufacturing environment Strong experience in SAP application, and advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel) Technical minded and process driven Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills
