Position : Part-time Contract Jr. Copywriter

The Opportunity: The Part-time Contract Jr. Copywriter will drive innovation and creativity to distinguish the brand in messaging and content, crafting and refining marketing materials for diverse audiences while ensuring the brand's voice is consistent across the organization. The person will work closely with teams across disciplines to deliver impactful, timely content that aligns with brand standards and campaign goals.

What You Will Do:

Stay informed about the latest trends, in marketing, ecommerce, social channels to contribute to in the creation of industry-leading initiatives Support in the conceptualization and execution of creative solutions alongside copy and design partners generating creative ideas and executing work as a team Innovate with unconventional and groundbreaking ideas that differentiate Purchasing Power in its messaging and content strategies Write, shape, reference and edit marketing content for multiple audiences of consumers and professionals Assist in auditing and evolving brand standards, and aid in communicating the brand voice throughout the organization Work collaboratively with cross-discipline teams of various levels of seniority Deliver creative copy that is on brief, on time, and effectively conveys the brand in all marketing communications both through editorial and campaign

The Experience You Will Bring:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related fields 3-5 years of retail marketing experience Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint presentation creation Ability work within the Adobe Creative Suite – i.e. Photoshop and InDesign, a plus Experience providing compelling marketing content and communications on time in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills that strengthen existing and new relationships within and across teams Comfortable sharing work and interacting with creative colleagues, managers and internal stakeholders Familiarity with AP Stylebook Ability to anticipate needs, innovate, multi-task and focus in a fast-paced environment Engaging portfolio with a focus on craft and creative problem solving
