We currently have casual positions in the Newcastle Region. We do not require experience for these positions, but experienced applicants are encouraged to apply.

You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. This includes:

Specialist training opportunities Buddy shifts with CPA’s experienced Disability Support PractitionersOpportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or a Certificate IV in Disability.

Your duties will include:

Delivering personalised support in a group home setting by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication and manual handlingSupporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independentSupporting clients to engage and participate in their communityBuilding positive relationships with our clientsTransporting clients, using CPA minivan, if applicable

Requirements

NSW Driver’s Licence P2 or Full requiredMust be willing to travel to across Newcastle
