The Opportunity:

Marritz Hotel is seeking a talented Executive Chef for the 2024 Snow Season.

  • Competitive salary + Your own room in On-snow accommodation + Ski Pass
  • Seasonal role for 13 weeks: 11th June – 20th September 2024

  • Opportunity to relocate to another one of our properties after Winter Season

As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the supervision and smooth running of the Marritz Hotel kitchen.

  • Ensuring a high standard of food preparation, presentation and quality
  • Managing a team of five, including rostering
  • Menu planning and costing
  • Stocktakes
  • Ensure Hygiene & OHS policies are adhered to

To be successful in your application, you must be qualified and experienced, self-motivated and a team player that is passionate about their trade You will also have:

  • A love of food and a drive for excellence
  • A great attitude and attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills & work ethic
  • A positive and proactive attitude and team focus
  • Creative flair and willingness to learn and teach
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
