TLC Aged Care Altona North has an extensive range of on-site services available making Marina a unique place to live, including a community medical centre, allied health services including a hydrotherapy pool, gym, physiotherapy, dietetics and podiatry, a resident’s sports bar and café, and virtual reality cinema.

This is not your typical role. 

As a Care Manager (Div 1/ Grade 5), you will thrive being on the floor providing hands-on care alongside a high performing team who excel in providing quality person-centred care and services to residents and their loved ones.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide comprehensive nursing with an individualised, person-centred approach
  • Manage medication and wound care
  • Collaborate on recommendation plans and support strategies
  • Contribute to continuous clinical improvement to delivery excellence in care
  • Support residents, families and visitors in a highly professional manner
  • Ensure assessments, care plans and reviews are undertaken appropriately, on time and well documented
  • Assist with clinical education and competency of staff 
  • Promote and foster a positive, collaborative and diverse culture 

Hours of Work

  • Onsite
  • Monday to Friday
  • 0700 – 1500 (or variation depending on operational needs)

Things that matter to us 

  • Two years’ experience in a clinical leadership role 
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards   
  • Relevant Nursing Qualifications (Division 1) 
  • Current registration with AHPRA 
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)    
  • NDIS Check (includes Police Clearance)    
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
