We are seeking an experienced industrial Electrician to join their maintenance team in Logan.

  • Immediate start available
  • Great pay rate on offer 
  • On site parking

Day shift 5am - 1pm and Afternoon shift 2pm - 10pm night (OT up till midnight, Mon to Fri plus every 2nd/3rd Sat which is day shift only)

This is an integral role, to assist with maintaining all equipment for supporting the day-to-day operational requirements of the business and ensure machinery function to their maximum efficiency with minimal disruption in output, from routine scheduling to completion of repairs. Fast paced role, including but not limited to - all service, fault finding, trouble shooting, diagnoses, installations and repairs etc.

Key responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Preventative maintenance services to all laundry equipment, including - washers, dry/iron/fold machines, boilers, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Responding to breakdowns
  • Assisting in the configuration, installation and start up of new machinery
  • Dismantling machines for access for cleaners 
  • Maintaining materials, products and services
  • Assist maintenance team in other areas as required

Personal attributes, skills & experience required:

  • Relevant Australian Trade qualification and current Electrical licence
  • Knowledge of working within a Laundry or similar FMCG/other industry preferred
  • Substantial mechanical aptitude
  • Maintenance planning experience
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong safety focus
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Boiler and/or Forklift ticket would be considered highly advantageous
