Overview
ECU is seeking a highly-skilled and motivated professional to supports the provision of a specialised psychological service to support staff across ECU and enhance employee wellbeing. 

This position will work with ECU staff and stakeholders to identify psychological support requirements due to complex situations and will offer triage and assessment, intervention, support and training to individuals and teams.  The role will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the organisation to promote wellbeing and help manage psychosocial risk. This role will be instrumental in progressing ECU’s WHS and Wellbeing strategic programs and approaches, including designing and delivering mental health initiatives.

The successful applicant will have:

  1. A Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and current registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, with an Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology with no conditions, undertakings, or reprimands. 
  2. Demonstrated high level of knowledge and experience in providing high quality, short-term clinical interventions to address a broad range of personal and work-related issues, via a number of modalities (e.g.: face to face, phone, online) and providing critical incident support and psychological first aid with both individuals and groups following a traumatic work-related incident or event. 
  3. High ability to consult and work collaboratively with all levels of ECU management and staff to address work related issues and promoting staff wellbeing.
  4. Well-developed communication, consultative and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to high ability to develop and effectively present mental health and wellbeing psychoeducational training in a variety of delivery modes.

Benefits & Remuneration
This ongoing, full-time position attracts remuneration of $134,599 to $151,600 pa inclusive of 17% university superannuation contribution.
