Medtronic’s Cardiac Rhythm Management portfolio offers devices and therapies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure. CRM innovations are now important more than ever. Together, we will transform the lives of people with cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure.

An internal career move has created an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Specialist in our Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management portfolio based in Perth, Western Australia. Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Partnering with sales colleagues to develop and execute account sales strategies for the business unit

  • Providing the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers by supporting field teams with technical in-services and presentations to customers

  • Conducting on-site education and / or consulting

  • Assisting Territory Managers in providing after-hours on-call support

  • Support sales & marketing programs with specific complimentary activities as provided by the Marketing team

  • Participating in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness

  • Working closely with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management and Regional Sales team to provide customer case and sales support

  • Gather market intelligence on customer and competitor activity and communicate to Territory Managers and Divisional Staff.

  • Identifying and facilitating execution on growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team.

  • Monitor field inventory effectively and ensure appropriate levels relative to demand in locations.

  • Support clinical study activities in conjunction with Territory Manager and the Clinical Research team

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a clinical role in medical devices industry or a clinical/hospital setting.

  • Proven experience providing technical support in cardiac rhythm management

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office

  • Required to travel up to 25%, valid driver’s license required
