A wonderful opportunity exists for an experienced **Electrophysiology Technician** to work on a casual basis across our **Angiography Suite at Hollywood Private Hospital**.

**About the Role**

Our Angiography Suite offers some of the most advanced medical imaging in Australia while accommodating a wide range of cardiology and vascular procedures across our three cardiac catheter labs.

Our procedures include cardiac anigograms and angioplasties, electrophysiology, pacemakers and resynchronisation devices, vascular angiograms and angioplasties, and much more.

As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our Angiography Suite, which will involve, but is not limited to;
- Operating physiological monitoring system to the highest standard
- Undertaking all aspects of haemodynamic monitoring for both cardiology and vascular procedures with the view to providing a scientific service in all aspects of cardiac electrophysiologic practices and procedures
- Interpreting ECGs and cardiac pressures
- Measuring cardiac outputs, oxygen saturation
- Ensuring the maintenance of EP stock levels
- Performing other duties within scope of training / qualification, as directed by the Manager

Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster is essential for this role.

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong passion for providing quality, patient-focused care. Your excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are critical to this role.
- Bachelor of Science or Applied Science
- Advanced knowledge of ECG recording and interpretation
- Experienced in all aspects of haemodynamic monitoring
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and independently when required
- High level of computer literacy
- International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) or Cardiac Electrophysiology Institute of Australasia (CEPIA) qualifications
- Experience in electrophysiological studies
