TheRole 

Join our esteemed educationalinstitution as a qualified classroom teacher, filling a specialistrole in teaching Mathematics for Years 7 to 11. This is a dynamicfull-time opportunity, spanning a 6-month fixed term, commencingimmediately at our Shelford Girls GrammarCampus.

The ideal candidate will showcase aprofound passion for captivating and stimulating students whileadeptly incorporating innovative learning technologies. We seek anindividual of high energy and forward-thinking mindset with VCEMathematical methods to join our dedicated team in Term3.

KeyDuties

Review and assess students at the beginning of each program to provide a flexible program that caters for individual students Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research-based knowledge of how students learn and integrate Formative Assessment Techniques Evaluate personal teaching and learning programs including feedback from students and assessment data to inform planning  Design and deliver conceptually driven, student-centered learning activities  Model high expectations to enable a safe and supportive classroom culture  Provide reports within school standards and timelines Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours

Skills andExperience 

Experienced in teaching Mathematics to years 7 – 11, with VCE methods A sound understanding and a passion for teaching the Victorian Mathematics curriculum Connect positively with students and show genuine care for their learning.  Demonstrate commitment to professional development  Working knowledge of the IB philosophy and approach to teaching is advantageous Hold a Teaching Qualification alongside exceptional knowledge and experience in Mathematics Hold a current VIT Registration
