As SA’s largest not-for profit provider of disability services, Minda provides supported independent living accommodation, supported employment and community engagement options, as well as therapy and respite services.

Minda’s Allied Health is undergoing significant growth of its team, as well as construction of a new purpose-built gym, consulting suites and upgrades to our pool facility.

If you are a Registered Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner, and want to work on a part time, or up to full time basis, or via some other flexible arrangement, why not join us?

What you will do

  • Complete psychological and behaviour support assessments for Minda clients and provide recommendations relating to mental health issues or behaviour support needs.
  • Act as a liaison and advocate for Minda clients, their families, carers and other professionals.
  • Ensure practice documentation is maintained to a high standard.
  • Assist to develop and maintain systems and procedures that empower people with intellectual disability.
  • Participate in research and projects as required.

What you need:

  • Experience providing psychological and behaviour support to clients within the disability or similar sector.
  • Knowledge of behaviour support principles, including assessments, and the development of behaviour support plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Honours Psychology).
  • Registered to practice under the Psychological Board of Australia
  • Eligibility to register as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS.
  • Classification in this role will be based on experience and skill set.

Other:

  • NDIS worker clearance.
  • Current unrestricted SA drivers’ licence.
