About Your New Role

As part of this role, you must be registered with the NDIS as a Registered Behavioural Support Practitioner at the Proficient level. To achieve this status, you need to meet specific requirements for both core and proficient practitioners as outlined in the self-assessment tool.

  • Work closely with Allied Health Professionals to develop tailored support plans for clients across different age groups and needs, demonstrating expertise in identifying and eliminating restrictive practices.

Additionally, we provide regular check-ins with Senior Practitioners, monthly gatherings with colleagues, and continuous support and mentorship from our team of Allied Health professionals.

Duties

  • Craft detailed Behavioural Assessments and analysis support plans.
  • Establish connections and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
  • Deliver personalized interventions to empower individuals towards progress.
  • Utilize evidence-based theories to design effective program blueprints.
  • Build lasting relationships with stakeholders to drive collaborative success.
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS quality and safeguard commission requirements to uphold excellence standards.

Skills and Experience

  • Current registration as a Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIS Capability Framework.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in behavior support intervention and plan development.
  • Demonstrated adherence to NDIS behavior support standards and frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in mentoring colleagues and strong analytical abilities.
  • Client-centered service provision with NDIS goals alignment.
  • Valid NSW driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Passion for enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities.
