Curragh Mine is one of the largest open-cut coal mines in Queensland's Bowen Basin and located only 12 kilometres from the local township of Blackwater.

Role Overview: 

Are you an accomplished maintenance professional with a passion for efficient operations? As our CHPP (Coal Handling and Preparation Plant) Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our Coal plant. Your expertise will help us maintain a high level of operational excellence while upholding our commitment to safety and environmental stewardship. This role will be working a 7/7 roster. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate maintenance activities within the CHPP to optimise plant performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative maintenance strategies.
  • Oversee the implementation of preventative and corrective maintenance plans.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and risks.
  • Drive a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and compliance throughout maintenance operations.
  • Contribute to audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to rigorous standards.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Trade with proven leadership experience.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management within heavy industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance best practices and reliability engineering.
  • Proficiency in analysing maintenance data and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
