Red Spice Road one of Melbourne’s most iconic fast paced Modern Asian restaurants is looking for a Sous Chef to join our close-knit work family.
We are an award-winning Southeast Asian restaurant that has operated in the heart of Melbourne CBD for over a decade, catering both lunch and dinner service and private dining functions, from Monday to Saturday.
The role
Joining Red Spice Road as Sous Chef will see you working closely with the Executive Chef and Head Chef creating new menu ideas, supporting each other and enjoying the experience along the way.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef
- Experience in working with Asian ingredients (wok cooking preferred but not essential)
- Qualifications such as Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- An understanding of food safety and hygiene - with a food safety certificate
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Teamwork skills
- Been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (or have a valid exemption)
