Responsibilities:

  • Lead Service Operations for Applications (Level 2&3).
  • Manage incidents, provide root cause analysis, and act as the incident manager for all P1 and P2 incidents.
  • Oversee service operations reporting, including trend analysis and vendor performance.
  • Support development and project activities, ensuring smooth production deployments and effective problem resolution.
  • Manage the production environment, handling incidents, production fixes, and monitoring performance and capacity.
  • Ensure compliance with Security and Compliance requirements, including annual security tests and user access reviews.
  • Oversee BAU vendor management, including performance monitoring and contract negotiations.
  • Guide and manage the IT Applications team, supporting career development and ensuring the right skills are developed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Application Support or systems administration, preferably in a large multinational company.
  • Experience with applications and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer-facing and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL and IT infrastructure and security topics.
  • Proficiency in technologies such as Microsoft Windows Server, MS SQL, IIS, MySQL, .Net, and Java.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT and vendor management experience.

Communication:

  • Regular reporting to senior IT management, security groups, local and regional IT departments, and IT vendors.
