Join Our Clients Team as a Senior Educator/2IC

Our client, a vibrant not-for-profit community centre located near Parramatta, is on the lookout for a passionate and energetic individual to join their team as a Senior Educator/2IC. This is your chance to make a real impact in the lives of children, offering out-of-school hours programs that are both fun and educational

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with the Director and Educational Leader to craft and execute a cutting-edge, engaging program for children aged 5-12 years.
  • Full-time (38 hours per week) with shifts covering before & after school care, Monday - Friday, plus extra hours during school holidays.
  • Flexible working arrangements tailored to fit your needs within regulatory guidelines.
  • Step into a leadership role when the Nominated Supervisor is absent with a view to moving into a full-time leadership role
  • Enjoy pay rates that are above award standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with 5- to 12-year-olds in education or childcare settings.
  • Proven track record in a Leadership position

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Current Accredited First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Emergency Asthma Management Training (or willingness to obtain).
  • Anaphylaxis Management Training (or willingness to obtain).
  • Child Protection Qualification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Solid understanding of the National Quality Framework and ‘My Time Our Place’ Framework.
  • Certifications in OOSH, Education Support, or Early Childhood (or working towards).
