As the ANZ Finance Manager, you will manage the ANZ Corporate Finance team by covering Statutory reporting, taxation, audits, and Controls compliance, while ensuring PPG ANZ locations meet all lodgment schedules aligned with local regulations and PPG policy.

Based in Clayton, Victoria, you will report to the Finance Director ANZ.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Financial and accounting processes follow PPG Policy and Procedure.

  • Ensure accounting for all transactions booked in the location’s books.

  • Ensure monthly and yearly closing activities are completed per schedule and accurately submitted.

  • Ensure that the statutory Audit Report is issued without any delay.

  • Perform account reconciliation reviews on a periodic basis, aligned with corporate guidelines.

  • Manage all reporting through SAP and external portals per regulations.

  • Ensure monthly and yearly tax submissions, tax reports, and tax payments are accurately made and submitted to local tax offices following tax regulations.

  • Monitor ANZ business process to ensure alignment with ANZ tax authority and PPG tax policy.

  • Collaborate with Tax Authorities and external auditors and facilitate in tax audit process.

  • Lead the country’s annual budgetary process, including coordination with SBU Business. head, SBU Regional finance, Operation departments.

  • Perform monthly budget variance analysis and provide commentary to support the variance.

  • Provide recommendations on optimizing results and controlling the cost of the services provided by the depts.

  • Prepare Cash flow forecasting and provide analysis for corrections.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulations, local and US GAAP, and Internal Control System Procedures (ICSP).

  • Lead in reviewing the ICSP submission, by coordinating with all departments.

  • Leading annual inventory count process and ensuring inventory is recorded correctly.

  • Ensure the Fixed Asset is safeguarded, with correct tagging, recording, and count per PPG policy.

  • Coordinate and prepare ACT for any Capex investment.

  • Guide, develop, and support the activities of subordinates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of experience working in the related field

  • Good understanding of SAP ERP

  • Finance management experience - understanding of financial statements and local GAAP / US GAAP principles.

  • Ability to work independently.
