About the Role:
We are excited to announce an opening for the Clinical Supervisor – OT NDIS and Paediatrics. This dynamic role, reporting to Vivir's Clinical Excellence team, involves supporting and managing our Occupational Therapists within the NDIS and Paediatric service line. A deep understanding of the NDIS framework, paediatric services, and strong mentoring abilities are essential. This position offers a blend of clinical and non-clinical responsibilities and can be completed on an ABN basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support and updates on occupational therapy related to the NDIS.
- Mentor and supervise university students during their placements.
- Deliver ongoing professional development and support to clinical teams.
- Conduct 1:1 mentoring and training for clinicians, particularly new graduates and limited registered clinicians.
- Option for dual management and clinician responsibilities for suitable candidates
Qalifications:
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent recognized by AHPRA).
- At least 12 months of experience managing clinicians in the NDIS and paediatric sectors.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Current driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- First Aid & CPR certification.
- Up-to-date vaccinations, including Covid-19 and 2023 flu vaccine, plus additional vaccinations (Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Pertussis, Rubella, Varicella).
