About the Role

The Head of Cyber Transformation Program will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing AGL's Cyber Transformation Program to safeguard critical energy infrastructure and systems from cyber threats. This program is designed to proactively guide the organization’s cybersecurity measures, ensuring the secure and reliable operation of energy systems. The role demands a deep understanding of both the energy and cybersecurity landscapes, as well as a proven track record in managing complex transformation programs within highly regulated environments.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and lead the Cyber Transformation Program within the energy sector, setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with wider corporate goals.

  • Analyze and secure existing energy infrastructure; foresee potential cyber threats and strategize ways to maintain system security.

  • Review and enhance cybersecurity measures continually to enhance resilience and ensure the protection of sensitive data.

  • Govern and prioritize various cyber initiatives based on risks, opportunities, and organizational readiness.

  • Regularly report on the program's progress, risks, and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations for improvement.

  • Ensure adherence to the defined cybersecurity governance framework across the energy programs.

  • Oversee the performance and collaboration of delivery partners and vendors, ensuring they meet contractual obligations, uphold quality standards, and deliver services on time and within budget.

  • Comprehensive program management, including budget development, timeline oversight, resource allocation, task prioritization, procurement management, and strategic roadmap execution to achieve program objectives.

  • Establish and maintain program governance structures, leading governance committees to ensure program adherence to policies and regulations and facilitating communication to support informed decision-making.

About you

  • Degree or certification in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Experience managing complex transformation programs or multi-stream projects.

  • Excellent collaboration skills with IT, OT, Engineering, and Operations teams.

  • Strong reporting skills on project progress, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders.

  • Effective communication skills for regular updates on cybersecurity postures and advances.

  • Proven understanding of project management methodologies and processes.

  • Experience in budget creation and management.
