About this work area
As Internal Communications Leader your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Develop, lead, and implement the country co-worker communication strategy in alignment with Ingka strategy, ensuring a secure communication process from definition through execution and follow-up.
• Responsible for the development and delivery of the country Co-worker Communication agenda, content and channels.
• Develop creative and innovative ways to communicate with co-workers throughout the organisation.
• Business partner for multiple stakeholders in the business with a key link to People & Culture to deliver key communication and drive engagement with the many co-workers.
• Collaboratively work with internal and external stakeholders by engaging and responding to briefs related to their area of the business, through developing a deep understanding of stakeholder drivers and target communication effectively to deliver results.
• Build a deep understanding of business objectives across multiple functions, in order to tie communications work directly to desired business outcomes.
• Share information and expert advice for business partners within the scope of the Co-worker Communication remit.
• Proactive collaboration with global Group Communication to enhance the Co-worker Communication strategy's development, while also adapting and implementing global standards and guidelines to ensure market relevance.
As Internal Communications Leader you are:
• A highly influential leader and business partner with a strong ability and passion for securing the co-worker communication agenda across the IKEA Australia business.
• An experienced communications professional with deep knowledge in digital communication tools.
• Able to communicate verbally, visually and in writing in an inspirational way with the IKEA tone of voice.
• Highly experienced in leading communication by planning, executing and following up to ensure that our co-workers are well-informed and engaged.
• Agile, adaptable and resilient to rapidly changing business needs in order to achieve results.
