A permanent role within a vibrant, busy workshop that is a market leader in repairing industrial electric motors and gearboxes for some of Australia's biggest companies. For a trades experienced Workshop Manager, Foreman or workshop supervisor interested in leading a team of skilled electric motor winders to rewind, repair, and refurbishment of a vast array of electric motors, gearboxes , compressors AC and DC.

A normal day:
As a Workshop Manager, you'll be the 2IC to the director, with a clear pathway to grow into a director role. You'll lead a dedicated team of 8 electric motor winders, overseeing all aspects of your workshop operations. Your days will be filled with variety, from hands-on troubleshooting and technical guidance to customer interactions and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management: Inspire and manage a skilled team of electric winders, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Customer Service Excellence: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing estimates, feedback, and ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction.
- Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot, rewind, repair, and refurbish a wide range of electric motors, leveraging your deep understanding of both AC and DC motors.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure the workshop runs smoothly and efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
