We have an exciting new position available which will be responsible for leading the strategic development and growth of the food and beverage outlet brands at Melbourne and Werribee Zoos.
The Role
This role contributes to the development of retail food and beverage brands in terms of store operations and growth, seasonal planning, business analysis, new products and menu development. Coordinates brand activities to obtain optimum efficiency of operations with minimum costs in order to maximise profits and ensure high quality standards for sales, rotation and loss. Recommends and leads specific retail brand training and inspects retail brand operations to ensure that it is correctly functioning according to brand standards. Takes ownership of the development of new and existing customer markets, as well as liaising with operations managers, client stakeholders, culinary and various corporate departments for new outlets validation and designs. Analyses prices, competition, and market segments at which the store product is aimed, in order to ensure providing brand related reports and data on regular basis. Plans and organises peak period activations, prepares promotions, sales and special marketing activities with the Marketing Manager and Operations Managers, as well as liaises with the Marketing department and the suppliers to properly execute marketing strategies. Assists in recruiting, training, motivating and evaluating the team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximise their potential and contribution to the company. Experience in on-trend, multi-outlet in hospitality management including brand strategy creation & deployment. Degree qualification in business, management, hospitality (an advantage) Strategic thinker with a focus on delivering commercial outcomes Commercially savvy and knows how to identify and deliver on growth opportunities. Positive, supportive, ambitious leader with experience in carrying out personal development plans, staff training sessions and appraisals Has excellent verbal and written communication.The Benefits
