    About you...

    You are a positive, motivated person who is skilled in providing mobile physiotherapy services to individuals and groups in the community setting, is willing to learn, likes driving, Pilates based interventions and SMART goal oriented.

    You are a positive, motivated person who is skilled in the community setting with experience with mobility aid prescription, neurological, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and amputee rehabilitation.

    Effective liaison within the multidisciplinary team and ability to work independently is essential.

    Previous experience and skills in Pilates or paediatrics is a bonus.

    Qualifications… 

    Completion of Bachelor or Masters in Physiotherapy with at least 2 years working experience as a physiotherapist in the community.

    About the position….

    The physiotherapist will be operating in a full-time capacity role within a close knit, positive team to provide mobile and clinic therapy services to individuals and groups.

    Effective liaison within the multidisciplinary team and ability to work autonomously and independently is essential.

    You will also be responsible for administrative duties which assist with client management and will contribute to the smooth operation and ongoing development of the community rehab program

    Must have current Australian drivers licence and at least third party insurance, current registration with relevant bodies, appropriate immunisation for Covid and flu vaccination as per current SA Health requirements, current First Aid certificate, valid National Police Check and DCSI screening checks (can be sponsored or reimbursed by the company).

    Key selection criteria… 

    • Previous experience within a hospital or community working with a multidisciplinary team desirable.
    • Experience working with neurological, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and amputee presentations desirable.
    • Geriatric and chronic disease management rehabilitation skills desirable.
    • Positive, fun, creative, value self and others, inclusive, quality focussed are desired traits.
    • Comfortable working independently as this is a mobile setting.
    • Sound interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work well within a team and relate to medical, nursing and Allied Health staff and patients.
    • Sound knowledge base of medical terminology.
    • High level of English literacy.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously (within scope of practice).
    • Sound computer skills. 
    • Confident in water.
