Role Overview
Reporting directly into the Chief Financial Officer, this Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of budgets and forecasting as well as management packs and analysis. On a monthly basis, you will drive the budgeting and forecasting process across the company, provide in-depth variance analysis and detailed cashflow reporting.

Comprehensive analysis of Jobs, Costing and Work in Progress will provide essential visualisation for senior leadership and influence critical strategic decisions. Working closely with the CFO this Senior Management Accountant will partner with the wider business to ensure accuracy and drive process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the budgeting & forecasting, reporting and analytical activity for the organisation
  • Develop and streamline reporting processes including dashboards and management reporting.
  • Develop, document and adhere to internal controls.
  • Prepare monthly reporting pack including P&L review, Balance sheet review and analysis.
  • Drive Cashflow reporting ensuring clear visibility.
  • Management of commercial contracts with residential and commercial properties including reporting
  • Oversee and conduct monthly account reconciliations as required
  • Identify problem areas and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Any other requirements and requests from time to time
  • Mentor and guide a direct report.

Candidate Profile
You are highly energetic and wish to be in a critical role driving performance for a business. You are Accounting qualified having completed your CA or CPA and have a strong understanding and ownership experience of a large P&L. Ideally coming out of a dynamic business you will have exposure to a complex organisation. With exceptional communication skills that you leverage in shaping positive working relationships, you are flexible in working through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. A passion for continuous improvement and taking things to the next level is at the core of who you are. Your leadership and stakeholder engagement skills will ensure your success.
