We are hiring an Asset Planner for our Peninsula Link contract with an office base in Frankston South. Peninsula Link is a 27km, freeway standard, dual carriageway facility with interchanges and grade separations extending from the Mornington Peninsula Freeway and EastLink Interchange.

About The Role
In this role you will support the Asset Manager with effective asset management of minor contract (upgrade works), including providing digital transformation and data-driven insights to enhance operational systems across the contract.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing the asset management procedures and business processes required to deliver asset management across the project and achieving ISO 55001 certification.

• Ensuring accurate reporting of all maintenance related activities and assist in compiling monthly reports for the client highlighting contractual performance.

• Ensuring inspections, routine maintenance and defect rectification meets KPIs specified by the contract by performance.

• Overseeing the management of sub-contractors for capital works upgrades projects or tasks that cannot be performed by the in-house team, ensuring work is executed in accordance with agreed terms, conditions, and budget.

• Managing budgeting, forecasting and cost control on the Project, including regular monitoring of progress and updating of financial information.

• Overseeing the continuous improvement of the Asset Management system, including data automation and dashboard creation.

• Developing and supporting the design life monitoring by Asset classes for the motorway.

• Interpreting engineering drawings and documents for senior managers and field crew.

• Supporting senior managers with technical knowledge and evidence gathering in commercial matters.

About You
Our ideal candidate will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or Asset Operational Management or experience in supporting Asset Management practices utilising Asset Information Management Systems.

• Current Driver Licence.

• Proven ability in the Asset Management environment to monitor Asset design life.

• Proven ability to extract, transform and visualise data.

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft products.
