Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounts receivable function including debtor reconciliation and handle all internal and external enquiries.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable function including processing credit card transactions, validate invoice accuracy, recording and payment of invoices, serving as a key contact for creditors, compliance with company policy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to maintain inventory/fixed asset control procedures.
  • Assist in the payroll processing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentations,  investigating variances and proposing corrective actions required.
  • Manage the month end processes and reporting including month-end journal, reconciliation, intercompany transactions, and balances.
  • Assist in the group consolidation process.
  • Support annual audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Provide accounting support to internal and external stakeholders, including budgeting, and data analysis.

You’re perfect for this role if

  • 2 - 5 years financial accounting experience, CPA/CA qualified or near completion
  • Sound knowledge of financial control, reporting and accounting principles and practises
  • A high degree of flexibility and the ability to prioritise work.
