About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll help care for our residents’ health and overall quality of life. Your personalised clinical care and empathetic approach will truly make a positive impact on their lives. It really is a highly rewarding role
We have a Part Time role available at our IRT Macarthur site, 16 hour per week shifts; this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced RN to ensure our residents receive quality care.
Hourly base rate $53.44 per hour, plus shift penalties depending on the experience.
Your work may include:
• Providing clinical care
• Managing and supervising care workers
• Undertaking client assessments
• Monitoring clients’ care needs, evaluation care plans
• Providing treatment as required
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration and 5 or more years of Nursing experience.
- Previous night shift experience, managing a night shift team
- Knowledge of clinical issues of ageing, including dementia related disorders and management of challenging behaviours
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A big heart – you’re empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
- Experience working as a registered nurse in an aged care centre environment
