Burger Urge is a fast-growing and dynamic restaurant chain with a passion for burgers. We are currently seeking experienced and hands-on professionals for management roles in Rockhampton: Venue Manager, Assistant Venue Manager, or Shift Supervisor.

The Roles:
As our Venue Manager, you will lead a team of enthusiastic staff to ensure exceptional customer service and maintain a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day operations, including inventory, staffing, and customer service
- Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and maintenance of the restaurant
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and partners
- Developing strategies to drive sales and increase revenue
- Analyzing sales and financial data for informed decision-making
- Creating and fostering a positive workplace culture
- Recruiting, training, and developing team members
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
As our Assistant Venue Manager, responsibilities include:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of managing the restaurant, including but not limited to staff management, food safety, customer service, inventory management, and financial performance.
- Train and supervise staff, ensuring that all employees are properly trained in company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the restaurant meets all food safety and sanitation standards, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the scheduling of employees and ensure that all shifts are covered.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
For the right candidate with current working rights in Australia, there are potential sponsorship opportunities after successfully completing the probationary period.
As our Shift Supervisor, responsibilities include:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff members.
- Create and maintain employee schedules.
- Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure that the restaurant is clean and presentable at all times.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with marketing and promotional activities.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
