About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic consultant cardiologist(s) with an interest in general cardiology &/or coronary intervention to join our team as a locum for up to 12 months as part of parental cover. This is a temporary, part-time opportunity based across Box Hill, Maroondah and Angliss Hospitals. You will be joining a dynamic cardiology department with a full suite of interventional, pacing and echo procedures on site at BHH. We have four accredited advanced trainees in cardiology based at Box Hill Hospital, and dynamic teaching and research programs. The position involves a weekly general cardiology clinic at Box Hill Hospital (3.5 hour session), a weekly cardiac cath lab session at Box Hill Hospital (2.5 hour session) as well as up to 3 weeks of ward service at Box Hill Hospital (with daily ward rounds) and 1 week of ward service covering consultations at Maroondah and Angliss Hospitals (3 ward rounds per week).
