What are we looking for?

Our Work + Road team is growing, and we are now seeking a Law Clerk to join our team in Wollongong.  As a valued member of this team, you will help support our Lawyers as they advance claims on behalf of our clients who have sustained an injury in a motor vehicle accident.

This is a part time opportunity, ideally 2 days a week. Your energy and drive will be integral in achieving successful outcomes along with your positive approach to your work.  Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Review, analyse and summarise documentation
  • Liaise with clients and external stakeholders
  • Preparing legal correspondence, court documents and briefs when required
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations 
  • Working closely with the legal teams to advance legal matters for clients

What will you bring?

Ideally you will have the following:

  • A keen interest in personal injury law, either as a current law student or similar.
  • A natural passion for helping people and high level of empathy
  • Exceptional experience in communication and customer service
  • Excellent written and drafting skills
  • Recognise the importance of attention to detail and time management
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to multi-task 
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • A willingness to learn
  • Proactive approach and initiative
